The Story
It started with a lease — simple, clear, and signed.
Telstra broke it anyway.
This isn't an accident. It's how they operate.
Australia's most shared trauma.
They crossed the line with my mum and I'm not having it.
They are unAustralian.
A stain on our culture #Telstain

They installed a tower 50m from my house despite our community's protests. When I complained about health concerns, they sent me a pamphlet and ghosted me.
Contract clearly stated no equipment on the north side of the property. Guess where they put it? And then claimed it was 'industry standard practice'.
Chemical overspray killed my vegetable garden. Telstra offered $200 'goodwill' payment for thousands in damages. Disgraceful.
Six months of dropped calls. Dozens of service tickets. Zero resolution. But my bill arrives perfectly on time every month.
They promised in writing the equipment would be 'visually unobtrusive'. Now I have a 15m tower blocking my ocean view. Property value dropped $100K.
Signed up for NBN with guaranteed speeds. Getting less than 1/3 of what I pay for. Their solution? 'Try moving your router'.
Tower was installed without proper cultural consultation on land with Aboriginal significance. Telstra's response: 'We followed the process'.
Three years of billing errors. Hours on the phone. Promised refunds that never came. Had to involve the Telecommunications Ombudsman.
You did everything wrong. Good thing I checked the document for review which you told me that I didn't need to do. All the details are wrong. I've tried to resolve this over the course of the last two days online and when that didn't work, came into store. Seems that's been made a mess of as well. I have all the receipts so I'll just take it to Fair Trading because I can't get a response or resolution from Telstra in spite of my time and efforts
Absolutely hopeless. Not able to change a phone plan because it is 4.30 (shop closes at 5pm)
I phoned this Telstra "business" hub at 9.01am to try to get first in the queue. Was on hold for over 90 minutes and finally ran out of patience and hung up. No "leave your number and we'll call you back" option like most customer oriented organisations. If this is how they treat their business customers, heaven help the ordinary Joe in the street.
Read the reviews. The staff are there to take your cash, not help. Came in with a dead phone and two months left on the contract. Instead of claiming warranty I'm pushed towards the latest deal which comes with a smart watch.
The worst experience. Was sold a faulty S8 camera not working. Asked for a new phone and was told we will send if off for 10 days to be fixed. The replacement phone will not be a smart phone. No customer service skills from the Manager.
Disgusted with this company - have spent 4hrs on the phone trying to simply transfer between products. At every step I have been promised things that have not been executed. Dismal performance from three different staff who all disagreed with each other.
Not deserve a one star! I purchased a device with 10G data for my WFH laptop, I have returned to the store twice after the purchase due to the staff installed the sim card in the wrong slot.
Just found out that I've been paying monthly for accessories that my sales associate put on my plan - and that I will have to pay for them for 2 years. What a joke, you think it's better to deal with a bit of humanity but then it's moments like this.
Unbearable. Staff are low level, untrained and have no customer focus. Robots with no passion and obviously all hate their jobs. Stay well clear of this store, the worse one i have ever had the displeasure to visit.
Telstra is hopeless and useless their agents are like robots who don't think. All they know is that 'computer says no' I've wasted hours of my time with no resolution to the issue. Horrible customer service. Switch to Optus!

It started with a lease — simple, clear, and signed.
Telstra broke it anyway.
This isn't an accident. It's how they operate.
This case is real — and documented — but it's also a warning.
What's stopping them from doing it to you?
We've got the paperwork. They broke the rules — and we can prove it.
It's not just happening here — it's happening everywhere.
From social media to national media — we're getting loud.
If no one holds Telstra accountable, who will?
No towers. No chemicals. All clearly written.
Telstra signed it. Telstra broke it.
Chemical spraying. Environmental damage. Health concerns.
Six years of being ignored and gaslit.
Over $445,000 in damages.
The price of being treated like you don't matter.
If Telstra has ever wasted your time or ignored your rights — this campaign is for you.
Speak up. Show up. Share the truth.
